Will it hurt my dog's skin?
Used with light pressure and moving strokes, it shouldn't. Like any deshedding tool, it can irritate skin if you press hard or stay on one spot too long. Keep sessions short and stop if your dog seems uncomfortable.
Does it work on short-haired dogs?
Yes, with a lighter touch. Short-haired shedders like Labs and Beagles shed loose undercoat too. The teeth are fine and sharp, so use very light pressure and short sessions on thin coats. If it doesn't suit your dog, the 60-day guarantee covers you.
My dog hates being brushed. Will this be different?
We can't promise every dog will love it. Start with a minute or two and plenty of treats, then build up. If it doesn't work out, the guarantee covers you.
Is it hard to clean?
